Jen Jones opened The Welsh Quilt Centre in Lampeter Town Hall in 2009 to celebrate Welsh Quilts and to promote a wider understanding of the importance of this regional art form.
There you can enjoy stunning exhibitions of Welsh Quilts in the main courtroom gallery, also exhibitions by featured artists in all 3 galleries, attend quilt-related courses or just browse the intriguing Welsh Quilt Centre Gallery Shop. Within the Gallery Shop you will find a delectable collection of both vintage and new textiles featuring a selection of antique Welsh quilts and blankets from Jen’s well-loved quilt shop, and superb hand-stitched recreations of the flannel geometric patchworks from The Jen Jones Collection.
In every nook and cranny you will discover something unexpected; books, jewellery, scarves, cushions made from old quilts, soaps hand-made in Wales, teddy bears made from 19th century Welsh blankets, an astonishing assortment of greetings cards and so much more!
