Workshop/Course, Sun 27 Nov 2016

Denmark Farm Conservation Centre,
Betws Bledrws,
SA48 8PB

Using a pattern that she designed herself, Jan will teach you how to make a crochet roosting pouch to provide shelter for the little birds in your garden. The pouches are made from Jute twine and can be customised in a variety of ways to suit the needs of your birds.

You will need to be able to crochet some basic stitches before you do this course: double and treble crochet and chains. If you can start your crochet with a ‘magic loop’ that will be helpful, but if not you will learn this skill during the day. If you can make a granny square, you can make a roosting pouch! Come along to our Beginners Crochet Workshop on Sunday 30th October 2016 if you’d like to learn to make a granny square.

Please bring your own 5mm crochet hook.
