The Old Barn Cafe

The Old Barn Café is located at Lake Vyrnwy in Llanwddyn. We are situated in the Courtyard, opposite the Sculpture Park.

As you relax on the terrace, sampling our delicious home cooking, you can also browse from afar onto our neighbour's shops. Or use our cycle hire facility for a lovely ride around the lake.

The most often asked question in the café when people discover we are a French and Welsh partnership is: What type of food do we provide?

Well, although my training pushes me towards a more continental sort of cooking, I always have to remember we are actually situated in the heart of Wales.

Therefore, we offer quite a wide variety of food, including some of the more traditional British meals, whether it'd be the English breakfast, the curries, or just a nice bacon sandwich !!

But we also provide a lovely range of home-cooked patés, quiches, casseroles, and a lot more.... As well as taking bookings for groups and catering for buffet lunches.
