Lunch and dinner is served in our award winning restaurant (and on the terrace in the summer months), the kitchen serves freshly prepared food using flair and imagination by chef Christopher Marsden and his team. We pride ourselves on our locally sourced and seasonal menu. Many of our vegetables are grown in our kitchen garden, the rest are sourced locally. All our meat is local, from the Welsh lamb and Herefordshire beef to the pork and organic chicken etc. and of course local cheeses. Seasonal game comes from the nearby Stanage estate.
Ice creams and sorbets are prepared often using our own home-grown fruit. Bread, pastries and petit fours are all prepared in house.Our modern British menu uses local and seasonal produce whenever possible.
