Dyffryn Ardudwy railway station is on the Cambrian Coast line from Machynlleth to Pwllheli and is located just to the west of the village centre off the A496. The postcode is LL42 2EU. The station is unstaffed; tickets can be bought on the train. Live Departure screens, payphone. Car parking no charge for passengers - 5 spaces; payphone. The station is a request stop; ask the conductor/indicate to the driver for the train to stop. When arriving on the train, turn right out of the station for the main road through the village.

Train times from 12 September to 10 December 2016 are:-

Departures for Machynlleth/arrivals from Pwllheli Monday to Saturday at 07.30, 08.33, 10.42 & then approx. every two hours until 18.43; last train at 21.17. Sunday train at 14.46. All except for the 07.30 & the 21.17 Mon - Sat trains connect to Birmingham; the 07.30 connects to Shrewsbury.

Departures for Pwllheli/arrivals from Machynlleth Monday to Saturday at 07.57, 10.11 & then approx. every two hours until 18.10; last train at 22.44. Sunday train at 20.04. All except the 07.57 Mon - Sat connect with trains from Birmingham; 47 minute wait at Machynlleth for the 22.44 Mon to Sat.
