Ty'n y Groes car park and riverside picnic area is the gateway to three forest walks, from an all ability trail with the tallest trees in Coed y Brenin (and downloadable Ty'n y Groes MP3 audio trail), to a rugged mountain trail with great views over Snowdonia.

For the kids there is a level grassy area for games and fun with barbeque facilities and the car park even has a toilet.
