Located in Snowdonia National Park, Coed y Brenin offers some of the most exciting, Mountain Biking routes in Wales. From the novice to the expert, there are miles of challenging trails to test your skills, what ever your level.

All the bike trails start and finish from the Visitor Centre, where you will find, Bike Hire, car parking, toilets, Cafe, and Wil's Shop.
The Visitor Centre and Cafe is open at the following times:
Summer: 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 5:00pm at the weekends.
Winter: 9:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 4:30pm at the weekends.
More information is available at Coed Y Brenin visitor centre, which include fun routes, moderate sport routes, strenuous expert trails, strenuous red bull route, strenuous karrimor route and the strenuous MBR route.

More information in relation to which grade and zone of mountain biking is suitable for you and where you can get training, can be found on the Natural Resources Wales website.

The bike wash facility is - £0.50 (token from Bike Shop)
The showers are - £1.00 for 3 mins

Coed y Brenin visitor centre The Visitor Centre has the following facilities: Toilets (including disabled toilets) Showers (in male, female and disabled changing rooms) Bike wash (token from visitor centre shop/information desk) Café (see above) Shop Information desk Picnic sites and BBQ There are a number of picnic tables around the main car parks within Coed y Brenin Forest Park plus many more on the waymarked walking trails. Some of the picnic tables have metal frames for holding disposable barbeques. There are also stone BBQ plinths in Glasdir and Ty'n y Groes picnic sites. Please ensure all fires are extinguished and tidied up after use.

East off the A470, 8 miles North of Dolgellau just North of Ganllwyd, South of Trawsfynydd/Porthmadog. Follow the brown tourist signs.

Local public transport is available, however the nearest train station is Barmouth.

Cycle Network: NCN route 82, Lon Las (North) and Lon Las Cymru all pass through the centre.
