Cefneuddwr Walking Trail (1 mile, 1.6 kilometres)
Start: From the visitor centre car park.
Highlights: This has to be the viewpoint and picnic area at Cefndeuddwr (two rivers ridge) with its panoramic views to Y Garn and northward along the remote Rhinog ridge towards Trawsfynydd.
This is a gently rising walk for all the family and suitable for pushchairs with resting benches at least every 150m. There are no steep steps or stiles.
This is a beautiful route winding through wooded boulder fields passing through a mixture of habitats, including large evergreens, stands of beech and open young birch and willow, as the route gradually climbs to the Cefndeuddwr viewpoint.
From the viewpoint drop down back to the visitor centre along the forest track with distant views to Crawcwellt and beyond.
Disabled visitors have the option of driving to the viewpoint and picnic site at Cefndeuddwr. Pick up a key for the gate and directions from the visitor centre during normal opening times.
