We hope everyone had the chance to make a lantern at one of Small World Theatre’s Lantern Making Workshop in October and November. If not, don’t worry, come along and join the crowd!

This Giant Lantern Parade is part of a Festive Fortnight. Cardigan’s many shops will be open for late night shopping. Small World Theatre will lead the parade from Pendre Art to Prince Charles Quay where there will be a breath taking fireworks display at 8pm.

The theme of this parade centres around the first Eisteddfod, but it will also be inspired by festive decorations. Imagine harps and stars with bells and bards… Some giant lanterns will feature and if you’ve made a lantern, you will be able to take yours home after the parade and in time for Christmas.

We’re meeting at Small World Theatre at 6.45pm and the parade leaves at 7pm.

Please contact us on 01239 615 952 and speak to a member of Small World Theatre. If you’d like more information. Our Box Office open times are Tues – Fri, 9.30am – 4.30pm.

Suitable for all ages and abilities.

Admission free of charge.

The project has been funded by the Welsh Government through Visit Wales’ Tourism Product Innovation Fund which aims to encourage partnership working and innovative ideas which will have a greater impact and attract more visitors.
