Details

Located between Brecon and Hay two miles away from Talgarth and 10 miles from Builth Wells the home of the Royal Welsh Show. Ideal for people wanting to visit the Black Mountains or Breacon Beacons National Park. The retreat is a more recently built wing of a 17th Century Mill House. The owners have recently exposed the old mill run and mill wheel and the river Dulas, a tributary of the Wye, runs along the bottom of the garden.

There is excellent trout and salmon fishing on the river Wye (available from the Usk and Wye foundation) only three miles away. There are excellent restaurants in the area and the market town of Brecon with its numerous places of interest is only seven miles away.

For the adventurous, horse-trekking and watersport are available at Langorse Lake and other outdoor facilities such as mountain bike rental are well catered for in the area.

Sit on the large sunny conservatory styled balcony which overlooks the river and open fields and watch the wildlife fly or scamper by.

Children welcome from any age.

From Brecon follow the A470 for seven miles towards Builth Wells and Hereford. When the A470 turns right to Builth do not take this turning but continue straight on the A483 towards Hereford. Proceed for 300 yards and you will see a white house on the right hand side - Trebarried Mill and The Retreat are located below this.

From Bronllys follow the A483 for approx 1.5 miles towards Brecon before you get to the red hatched lines in the road warnong of the A470 junction and turning to Builth you will see a White House on the left and a sign for Trebarried Mill which is below.
