The Brecknock Wildlife Trust is a registered charity and membership organisation, that has been operating for over 40 years, working for the protection of the wildlife habitats and species in the old county of Brecknock (now the southern third of Powys).

The Trust manages over 20 nature reserves for the benefit of wildlife and for people to visit.
Initiate and participate in both county and Wales wide conservation projects. Our activities include:

Species monitoring
Habitat surveys
Provide advice to landowners
Participate in community initiatives that benefit the environment
Operate a children's wildlife club - Watch
Organise events for education and awareness
