Bala Adventure & Watersports

Details

Snowdonia is the oldest of Wales' National Parks; the majesty of Bala's lake, Llyn Tegid, and its mountain ranges of Aran and Arenig are beyond compare. Extend your horizons and choose from a half day hill walk taster session or a full day hill walk, and experience why these volcanic hills are so loved by all who visit.

Half day hill walking session From £40.00

This half day hill walk is a taster. It is more of an introduction to the surrounding area's much loved walking trails. Minimum age: 12.

Full day hill walking from £80.00

Just to read the names of the mountains surrounding Bala is to take a journey; Aran Benllyn, Arenig Fawr, the Berwyn mountains, Mynydd Nodol, Rhobell Fawr, Moel Llyfnant, Cader Idris, all these names are rich in history.

Qualified and knowledgeable outdoor instructors will be delighted to share their passion for hill walking in North Wales and show you Snowdonia's beauty in safety. With only heron, buzzard, and red kite for company you will pass moorland, farmland, rivers, forests and lakes. Snowdonia's mountains were made to be crossed like this. On foot.
Minimum age: 12.
