Clarach's sand and shingle beach is sheltered by steep cliffs, along which the Ceredigion Coast Path extends in both directions. The Welsh name of one of the rocky outcrops along the cliffs of Constitution Hill (Craig y Fulfran - cormorant rock) gives a clue to the rich birdlife of this part of the Ceredigion Coast path.

Dog restriction on section of beach 1 May - 30 Sept?

As well as a sandy beach, which lies against a shingle ridge, other ice age features to explore include the sandstone and grit rocks, with sea caves and rock pools, and fossils in the corrugated rock platforms.
Seaside Award beach. Toilets, parking. Lifeguard service provided 2 July to 4 September 2016. Dogs not allowed May to end September.
