A Regiment of Unknown Soldiers
– William Troughton

D. C. Harries was a high street photographer with premises in Llandeilo and Ammanford. Amongst the thousands photographed by him over the course of half a century were hundreds of young men who sat for portraits before leaving for ‘The Front’. We don’t know who most of them are but we know quite a lot about them. How? Come along and find out.
